Finally a restock of the Utility Canvas bucket totes in natural as well as two new colorways, black & olive. Really simple, hard wearing, everyday bags that will soften over time.

The Hill-Side take a tough, working man’s approach to neckwear, Their ties & handkerchiefs are not fancy or fragile, they are not merely decorative, nor are they status symbols, but are meant to be worn hard, every day, and thus gain character with each use. Using materials that are not commonly associated with neckwear : selvedge chambray, left hand twill & waxed cotton.

‘Ouessant’ long sleeve T-Shirt from Saint James in solid colors black & ecru. Made from a heavyweight cotton, features a small Saint James label on left arm & a boat neck, we will have the striped versions of this style in a week or so.

From Mackintosh we have some diamond quilted jackets,
The ‘Waverley’ which is available in mid grey or charcoal wool, & The ‘Brechin’ which features a detachable hood, available in navy & charcoal wool, both styles have 2 front pockets, double vented at back with snap fasteners, Mackintosh branded buttons & are warm without being too heavy.

Canvas & leather tote bags by Buckaroo manufacturing company who were established 1983 in Colarado, USA. Available in Burgundy, Green, Natural & Olive canvas, coupled with tan leather, these bags are hard wearing & good looking right now but will get much better over time with wear.

Established in 1857, Borsalino is synonymous with style and elegance, & are considered by many as the finest hats in the world. They produce their own felt from the finest Belgian lapin fur at their factory in Alessandria, Italy. Their felt hats are still produced today just as they were a hundred years ago.
From them we have some ‘Legionnaire’ hats in 3 colorways, Camel, Charcoal & Navy, all with fold down ear flaps & a short bill, made from a wool, alpaca & mohair mix fabric which makes these hats warm light & very luxurious.

The Kellas is in a heavyweight cotton canvas & bridges the gap between formal & informal perfectly, with all the details & finishing associated with their classic Mac’s crossed with a slightly more casual shape. Available in Tan or Navy, both colorways have a wool plaid button out liner, detachable hood, adjustable cuffs, slanted front pockets with flaps, underarm vents, corduroy collar & buttoned vents at at back.

Recently added to the website are some nice new products for the spring & summer, from Paraboot, Shuron, & Utility Canvas.

Two styles of Paraboot shoes have been added to the site, the classic ‘Barth’ boat shoe in a waxy dark navy leather with white sole & white leather laces & the ‘Malibu’ shoe which has the same white sole as the ‘Barth’ but with a more shoe like upper, this model is in a taupe leather with tan leather laces.

We have 2 classic styles from Shuron, both in 2 colorways. Firstly there is the ‘Sidewinder’ frame in Demi Amber with brown polarized lenses & Black with gray-green polarized lenses. & then we have the classic ‘Ronsir ZYL’ frames in Tortoiseshell with brown polarized lenses & Black with gray-green polarized lenses. Known to be the original ‘Browline’ frames originally developed by Shuron in 1947. These are the ones Malcolm X used to wear.

We have added 2 new bags from Utility Canvas to our site, both in a heavy 21oz natural canvas, first the ‘Whaling Tote’ (pictured below) this has a bright yellow vinyl stripe wrapped around which adds extra strength & just looks great in general, (we are also getting this bag with green vinyl next week) Secondly there is the classic ‘Field Bag’ – a very simple, sturdy everyday bag.
We also have some soft cotton, pre-washed knee lengths shorts in 3 colorways, Cinnamon Beach Stripe, (pictured below) Blue Beach Stripe & a Hawaiian inspired Maui Green which has a green & white floral pattern.
Some good news for those of you who missed out on the ‘Bucket Tote’, they should go back into production very soon, hopefully ready for the end of July, we’ll keep you posted.
