News August 13 2010 – S.N.S. Herning AW 2010 #1

Our first few pieces for Fall 2010 have started arriving, beginning with knitwear from S.N.S. Herning

Firstly the ‘Version Cardigan’ a high buttoning cardigan available in ‘Sea Blue‘ or ‘Burgundy‘ – quite a light piece of knitwear compared to other S.N.S. pieces, so its perfect for early fall over a tee or a shirt. Next we have the ‘Vent Sweater’ in ‘Midnight Blue’ and ‘Olde Green’ – this is very similar to the Origo Sweater from last fall however this seasons ‘Vent Sweater’ is in a boiled wool, creating a much softer handle.

The classic ‘Naval Pullover‘  in a gorgeous Navy & Brown  striped color way, & another classic, the ‘Fang Crew Neck‘ a heavy ribbed sweater is available in Navy. As always we’ve got some hats & scarves to complement the knitwear.

Look out for the ‘Stark’ next week, this we have in three great colors

S.N.S. Herning AW 2009

For this autumn we have a heavily edited selection from S.N.S. Herning. Firstly the ‘Stark’ cardigan in 3 colors – Sea Blue, Olde Green & Steel Grey – one of our favorite styles from S.N.S., so warm that it can be worn under a light jacket all winter (we’ve been testing it over the last few years).

Secondly we have the ‘Origo’ in Sea Blue & Dark Purple. This an updated version of their famous fisherman’s sweater, it features a crew neck rather than a roll neck & a ribbed hem rather than a straight one – which makes it easier to wear day to day. Lastly we have the striped ‘Naval’ hats in 2 colorways to complement the sweaters.

S.N.S. Herning S/S 2009

S.N.S. Herning are best known for their textured woolen knitwear, so it may come as a bit of a surpirise that we are starting with a cotton collection……… In fact it’s their first foray into cotton for 17 years & quite possibly their last, which makes the pieces even more covetable. These Mercerized cotton pieces retain similar traits as the wool, in weight & in texture, each garment has been pre-washed & tumble dryed which gives them a really nice rough feel. The colors are also astounding, especially the ‘Sunbleach’ yellow & the Anthracite. As with all S.N.S. Herning knitwear, each piece has been signed by the person that made it (one of 3 gentlemen)
