Niuhans is a Tokyo-based independent fashion label founded in 2010 by Daisuke Hamada, presenting simple, clean everyday clothing whilst using only the finest natural materials. His aim is to make clothes that fit everyone's life and environment regardless of their race, sex, age, occupation etc. All products are made in Japan with a distinct focus on craftsmanship and quality.
Daisuke Hamada was born in 1983. After studying architecture and fashion design in Japan, he went to Paris when he was 21 and worked as an assistant designer at 'Kitsune', and then moved to London to work at several ateliers such as 'Ann Sofie-Back'.
He returned to Japan in 2009 and started 'Niuhans' in 2010.
