Trousers, based on workpants made in the US in the 1940s in a ”TWEEDUROY” fabric - a corduroy printed with a tweed pattern to resemble wool tweed. Primarily used for boys’ clothing and school uniforms, the fabric seems to have been developed for a greater durability compared to wool.
