'Lot 019 Socks' (Charcoal)

Socks inspired vintage socks using the Zocchi knitting technique - to knit without a backing and by using elastic only at the mouth. Made on an old sock knitting machine at a well-established factory in Nara, Japan. The ribbed mouth is long and fits the calf to prevent the socks from slipping down.
